介绍（中）	Langlois是雅克·路易斯·大卫的学生和合作者，1809年赢得罗马大奖赛后前往意大利。在那里，特洛伊沦陷期间，他在雅典娜神庙绘制了一幅卡桑德拉的重要画作。1817年，当他最终在巴黎沙龙展出时，这幅画布获得了二等勋章，路易十八为国家购买了这幅作品。Langlois很可能是受私人收藏家的委托，根据这幅画创作了这幅高度成品的水彩。
介绍（英）	Langlois, a student and collaborator of Jacques Louis David, traveled to Italy after winning the Prix de Rome in 1809. While there, he executed a major painting of Cassandra in the temple of Athena during the fall of Troy. The canvas earned a second-class medal when he finally exhibited it at the Paris Salon in 1817, and Louis XVIII purchased the work for the state. Langlois likely produced this highly finished watercolor based on the painting as a commission from a private collector.
