介绍（英）	The site of Faras was a major center of Lower Nubia during the Meroitic period (300 B.C.–A.D. 350). The excavations of the cemetery led to the discovery of important funerary material, including twelve archer’s rings. This example was fashioned in granodiorite-tonalite (sources are known in the Eastern Desert of Egypt and south of Aswan) and has a slightly flared shape. It is light grey with dark grey spots.
