介绍（英）	Towering trees frame a gentleman-recluse, who sits at the water’s edge gazing into the void. His attendant, who has prepared wine, stands ready to present the master’s zither, should musical inspiration strike. This composition, uncharacteristically spare for Wang Meng, distills the reclusive landscape down to its essentials. The melancholy poem reads, in part: When did the fisherman’s boat bring me here? Where will I meet the hermits of the Qin dynasty? Springtime ages quickly and flowers are soon gone, Year after year, the river flows relentlessly eastward. —Translation after Wen Fong
