介绍（中）	Ichikawa DanjúrōVII在"Shibaraku！"的表演中扮演了自己。"Shibaraku！"通常作为每年11月"露脸"（kaomise）制作的一部分表演，向公众介绍一家演员公司。夸夸其谈的"Shibaraku！"被认为是为了避邪。画面上方刻有三首诗，其中包括位于中央的丹朱的诗。在照片中占据主导地位的是著名的三个嵌套正方形的家族徽章（mimasu），既出现在角色和服的袖子上，也出现在印花的框架上。
介绍（英）	Ichikawa Danjūrō VII portrayed himself in a "Shibaraku!" performance. "Shibaraku!" was customarily performed as part of the annual November "showing-faces" (kaomise) production to introduce a company of actors to the public. The bombastic shout of "Shibaraku!" was believed to ward off evil. Three poems are inscribed above the picture, including Danjūrō's poem at the center. Dominating the picture is the famous family crest of three nested squares (mimasu), seen both on the sleeves of the character's kimono and as the print's frame.
