介绍（英）	Girtin's gem-like watercolor centers on a sturdy trees sheltering deer in Windsor Great Park, with a pond and fields in the middle distance and low hills beyond. The work conveys the impression of a sunny summer day, but must have been painted indoors under controlled conditions, since adjacent patches of color had time to dry fully. Just eighteen when he made this work, Girtin's mature brushwork and range of techniques deftly convey subtle variations of light, shade and texture. Together with J. M. W. Turner, the artist is regarded as one of Britain's great watercolorists who pushed the medium in new directions and explored its expressive potential. Tragically, his career would cut short by illness at the age of twenty-seven.
