介绍(英)Engraving, part of 'Omnium pene Europae, Asiae, Aphricae atque Americae Gentium Habitus' (Costumes of the various nations of Europe, Asia, Africa and America), a series of prints representing figures from various parts of the world, engraved by Abraham de Bruyn and published by Joos de Bosscher in 1580.

This engraving represents the two Turkish boys dressed in outdoor garments, a veiled Turkish woman, the wife of a Turkish nobleman, dressed to imitate European fashions. On the left, the two boys wear short-sleeved coats with brocaded (?) patterns with scrolling leaves over ankle-length robes with horizontal stripes, boots, with fabric belts tied around their waists. One of them wears a rutban on his head, and the other a hat made with a fabric that matches his coat. With them is an older woman, with a headscarf wrapped around her head and shoulders, a long-sleeved coat over an ankle-length dress, and boots.

On the center-right, the veiled Turkish woman wears an asymmetrical overcoat with a pattern of lozenges and pearls, with a fringed belt tied around her waist. She wears a sort of cap on her head, which is wrapped in a headscarf that hangs loose at the back, covering her shoulders and back. On her feet she wears boots.

On the right, the wife of a Turkish nobleman wears a short-sleeved dress with a pattern of scrolling leaves, with a border made up of a pattern of lozenges and pearls between two horizontal strips of pearls, over a long-sleeved shirt, and with a belt tied around the waist. Her hair is covered by a headscarf, and she wears chopines without socks. She wears pendant pearl earrings and a pearl necklace with a pendant. She holds a scarf on her right hand, against her hip.
