介绍（英）	Rectangular sheet of paper with a textile design from a group, dated 1840, made in Mulhouse, Alsace which was an important nineteenth-century center for textile production in the Haut-Rhin region of France. The design is made up of alternating vertical scrolls of black color decorated with pearls and undulating garlands of branches of light tan color decorated with rosettes over a background of light tan color with stipples of dark reddish-brown color. The garlands have offsetting branches rendered with stipples of dark reddish-brown color. The rosettes are of orange and purple color with outlines of red color and the pearls are of white color. The bottom part of the design is left without the stipples that both decorate the background and create the branch offsets for the undulating garlands.
