介绍（中）	十七世纪以后，珍珠贝壳和"洒金"（maki-e）技术的结合在日本和琉球群岛生产的漆中都有发现。这两个中心还制作了包含极薄珍珠母贝的作品，例如松树的蓝色树干和缠绕樱桃的白色树干。另一方面，边缘和末端密集的锦缎状图案通常归因于琉球群岛。当组合在一个图像中时，缠绕的树基下的牡丹和母鸡，以及另一侧的公鸡和母鸡，被理解为荣誉和财富的象征。
介绍（英）	After the seventeenth century, the combination of pearl shell and the "sprinkled gold" ( maki-e) technique is found in lacquers produced in both Japan and the Ryūkyū Islands. Both centers also produced works incorporating extremely thin pieces of mother-of-pearl, as here in the blue trunk of the pine tree and the white trunk of the entwined cherry. The dense, brocade-like patterning on the edges and ends, on the other hand, is more often attributable to the Ryūkyū Islands. When combined in one image, the tree peony and the hen at the base of the entwined trees, as well as the rooster and hen on the other side, are understood as symbols of honor and wealth.
