介绍（中）	伊比斯是神Thoth的圣物；这尊真人大小的雕像很可能是为他一座寺庙的ibis墓地捐赠的；它特别接近于已知来自Hermopolis遗址的实例。鸟的头是青铜的，眼睛是水晶或玻璃的。木制的身体覆盖着亚麻布，涂有石膏，漆成白色，全身和尾部都有深色的、几乎像毛发一样的羽毛。
介绍（英）	The ibis was sacred to the god Thoth; this lifesize statue was probably made as a donation for an ibis cemetery at one of his temples; it is particularly close to examples known to be from the site of Hermopolis. The head of the bird is of bronze, and the eyes of crystal or glass. The wooden body was covered with linen, gessoed and painted white, with detailing of darker almost hairlike feathers throughout and massing at the tail.
