介绍（中）	无衬里、轻盈透气的夏季和服经常装饰图案，以达到降温的心理效果。在这里，紫色和白色的鸻在抽象的尖顶形状的背景下旋转和潜水，这些形状可能代表波浪或在鸻类丰富的海岸边发现的干涸的渔网。紫色的鸻是用丝绸绣的，而白色的鸻则是在黑暗的地面上抗染的，有一双小小的绣银眼睛。类似的图案在江户时代的后半期（1615-1868）很流行，但设计的布局不同，对场景的描绘也不那么程式化。
介绍（英）	Unlined, light and airy summer kimonos are often decorated with motifs for their cooling psychological effect. Here, violet and white plovers wheel and dive on a background of abstract peaked shapes that may be meant to represent waves or the drying fishnets found along the shores where plovers were plentiful. The violet plovers were embroidered in silk, while the white plovers were resist dyed on the dark ground and have tiny embroidered silver eyes. Similar patterns were popular in the second half of the Edo period (1615–1868), but the layout of the design was different and the depiction of the scene less stylized.
