介绍（英）	This quiet landscape is set in the forest of Chambord in northern France. Although the forest is associated with the nearby Chateaux de Chambord built by Francois I, Rousseau makes no visual reference to the old monarchy, instead delighting only in the details of the landscape. Here we see a small clearing in the forest with cattle drinking from a pond. A rich light warms the center of the painting, drawing attention to the flickering water, which reflects the blue and white sky as well as the cattle who drink from it.
