介绍（中）	埃及的玛丽是一位五世纪的苦行僧，在巴勒斯坦荒野中与世隔绝了四十七年后，她从牧师佐西姆斯手中接受了她的最后圣餐。这幅画有一个吊坠，显示了圣玛丽抹大拉的狂喜（莫利纳里·普拉德利收藏，博洛尼亚）。它于1709年作为博洛尼亚参议院的礼物赠送给教皇克莱门特十一世，以期待他支持在该市建立艺术学院。弗朗切斯基尼的艺术力求表达清晰，理想化的人性与他所描绘的宗教和神话故事相吻合。
介绍（英）	A fifth-century ascetic, Mary of Egypt is shown receiving her Last Communion from the hands of the priest Zosimus, following forty-seven years of isolation in the wilderness of Palestine. The picture has a pendant showing the ecstasy of Saint Mary Magdalen (Molinari Pradelli collection, Bologna). It was given in 1709 to Pope Clement XI as a gift of the Senate of Bologna in anticipation of his support for the founding of an art academy in the city. Franceschini’s art strove for clarity of expression and an idealized humanity consonant with the religious and mythological stories that he depicted.
