介绍（中）	塞尚对家中位于艾克斯附近的Jas de Bouffan庄园的喜爱，体现在他在四分之一个世纪里对该庄园的诸多描绘中。19世纪80年代中期，他在这幅作品中多次描绘了右下角的道路。它与栗树接壤，从一座18世纪的房子后面通向风景园林。在分隔区域的栏杆附近有一个水池和一个洗涤槽，可以在中间看到。水池两侧是狮子形状的水龙，从后面可以看到其中一个。
介绍（英）	Cézanne’s affection for his family’s estate, Jas de Bouffan, near Aix, is reflected in the many views he painted of the property over a quarter century. He depicted the road at the lower right in this composition several times in the mid-1880s. Bordered with chestnut trees, it led from the back of an eighteenth-century house to landscaped gardens. Near the rail dividing the areas was a pool for collecting water and a washing trough, visible in the middle ground. The pool was flanked by waterspouts in the shape of lions, one of which may be seen here from behind.
