介绍（中）	十八世纪的蕾丝是一种昂贵的物品，只有上层阶级才能买得起。因此，它得到了高度重视和保存。随着19世纪时尚的变化，将蕾丝从原来的形式重新配置为表达当前模式是一种常见的做法。这个项圈就是这样一个例子。设计中缺乏对称性，以及十八世纪不存在的衣领形状就是这种做法的证据。
介绍（英）	Lace in the eighteenth century was an expensive item that was only affordable for the upper classes. It was therefore highly valued and kept. As fashions changed in the 19th century, it was common practice to reconfigure the lace from its original form to one that expressed the current mode. This collar is such an example. The lack of symmetry in the design as well as the collar shape which did not exist in the eighteenth century are evidence of this practice.
